Stoneleigh Park and the former Deer park next to Stareton has the largest collection of officially registered Veteran & preservation ordered trees in Warwickshire (a Veteran tree is defined as having an age of at least 300 years & some of the trees in the park are recorded as exceeding 500 years old). The trees are registered at the Warwickshire Biological Records Centre Ref. SP 317 715.
